Human approval

For some tools performing sensitive actions, it may be desirable to enforce that the human user is able to review tool calls before they are actually executed by the agent. This is possible with Dataiku managed tools by enabling human approval in the tool settings.

When human approval is enabled for a given tool, visual agents will pause before making a call to this tool to ask the user for confirmation.

It’s also possible to allow the user to manually edit the inputs of the tool call when reviewing pending tool calls, by enabling this option in the human approval settings of the tool.

Note

Structured Visual agents support human approvals within the main block sequence, but not within sub-sequences. So approvals cannot be used within subsequences of the For Each, Parallel, or Reflection blocks.
