The Challenge and the Solution

Responding to long and complex documents like Requests for Proposal (RFPs) and Requests for Information (RFIs) is traditionally a highly manual and time-consuming process. The RFx Accelerator is designed to help organizations streamline this workflow by leveraging Large Language Models (LLMs) and the underlying technologies within your Dataiku platform.

By centralizing your organization’s expertise into a searchable repository, teams can save valuable time and significantly accelerate the completion of bid questionnaires. The application achieves this by intelligently extracting the structure of incoming documents and matching them against a curated Knowledge Base. It acts as an agentic engine, automatically drafting responses using previous, validated answers or generating entirely new content based on the provided context.

What You Can Do with the RFx Accelerator

With this application, your proposal managers and subject matter experts can easily collaborate in a centralized workspace to:

  • Extract document structure automatically: The system identifies and organizes questions, instructions, and contextual information from uploaded files (including PDF, Word, Excel, and odt formats).

  • Manage a granular Knowledge Base: Curate a centralized library using context documents (like reports or internal notes) and past questionnaires. You maintain precise control over your data by enabling, disabling, or editing specific text “chunks” within a single document.

  • Generate intelligent answers: Draft responses by choosing to use fully AI-generated text, exact library matches from previously validated questionnaires, or a hybrid approach.

  • Review and refine with clear traceability: Deep-dive into generated responses using a rich-text editor, verify the exact Knowledge Base sources used by the AI, and apply specific new instructions to regenerate better drafts.

  • Fuel the Content Loop: Submit finalized, expert-reviewed answers directly back to the Knowledge Manager to continuously update the system and improve the accuracy of future automated responses.

  • Collaborate and export: Invite co-owners to work on specific projects and export the final, completed questionnaire as either a PDF or a Word Document (.docx).

Access and license

RFx Accelerator is available from DSS 14.6 and higher as part of Dataiku Enterprise edition or an Enterprise AI Package.

Users must have one of the following license types: Data Designer, Advanced Analytics Designer, or Full Designer.
