Databricks Genie Tool

The Databricks Genie tool leverages an existing Databricks Genie space in order to answer questions from a set of Databricks tables connected to the Genie space.

It empowers other agents to query structured data using Databricks Genie (Text-to-SQL).

Prerequisites

The Genie Tool is provided by the “Databrick AI” plugin, which you need to install.

You need:

  • A Databricks Workspace with Model Serving enabled.

  • A Dataiku Connection to Databricks configured with either a Personal Access Token or OAuth2 credentials.

  • A configured Databricks Genie Space with tables accessible to the default role of the Dataiku Connection

Usage

The tool only requires a Databricks Connection and the Space ID of your Genie space (which can be found in the Databricks Genie URL)
