Parameters Analyzer¶
In manufacturing, production quality is a key element of success. Any product that does not pass the Quality Assurance stage means a direct loss in terms of materials, production effort and opportunity costs, with only limited opportunity to (feasibly) recover part of those costs. The data being emitted in production processes provide a major opportunity to find and understand potential efficiencies.
Data-driven manufacturing¶
On a day-to-day basis, process engineers design processes and equipment for manufacturing, monitor equipment through regular testing, and provide strategic oversight of the processes being deployed. They want to use the data and analytics to identify trends, patterns, and areas for improvement in production processes, and make informed decisions to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of these processes.
This is exactly what Parameters Analyzer supports: to identify how a specific driver (a parameter) affects the defined outcome (the target). It aims to be a uniform and accessible way to provide a wide range of process specialists with the capability to quickly and easily extract optimisation insight from their production data.
By using this app with historical data on your manufacturing runs, you can identify optimal tuning ranges for each parameter, find what is likely to cause a NOT OK outcome, and use these insights to feed back into your processes with updated control settings.
In a nutshell, with this app you can:
Create and update studies to pinpoint key factors driving the target outcome.
Derive actionable insights from past tunings and process configurations.
Suggest improvements that enhance production quality and efficiency, and share them as reports with your organization.
The full documentation for Parameters Analyzer is available inside the application.
Note
Parameters Analyzer is delivered as a Business Application.
