Salesforce Agentforce

Agent Management discovers Agentforce agents in a Salesforce organization and collects their session telemetry.

Connection and discovery

Use a Salesforce connection configured with the organization URL and OAuth2 credentials. The identity needs permission to read agent metadata. Session tracing must be available in Salesforce, and the connection must be able to query its telemetry through Data 360. Agent invocation requires access to the Salesforce Agent API.

Supported capabilities

  • Inventory: discovers agents, their source identifiers, status, and active version information.

  • Interaction logs and traces: collects sessions, interactions, messages, and steps from session tracing telemetry.

  • Usage: active-user and conversation counts are supported when the telemetry supplies the required identifiers.

  • Cost: attributes reported Flex Credit and conversation usage using the platform’s configured prices.

  • Uptime tests and agent reviews: supported through the Agent API.

  • Platform actions: disable and re-enable agents, with the action tied to a resolved agent version.

Limitations

Discovery does not enable session tracing on Salesforce. Collection depends on the availability and retention of source telemetry. Agent Management waits for the configured interaction stability window before collecting recent interactions.

Model-token metrics and separate platform-metric fetching are unavailable through this connector.
