Cost Management¶
Agent Management attributes model usage and cost across the agent estate. Cost information is available only when the connected platform exposes model usage and Agent Management has the pricing information required for attribution.
Model pricing¶
Agent Management calculates model cost from collected model identities and token usage, using the model prices configured in global Settings > Costs. Administrators can use supplied prices or configure custom prices, including prices for models outside the supplied catalog.
The model cost view warns when a model has no configured cost. Missing telemetry or pricing can leave cost unavailable; an unavailable estimate does not mean zero usage.
Portfolio cost¶
The portfolio Cost page provides:
Total cost for the selected period and its change from the previous period.
Number of agents with model usage in the period.
Average cost per active agent.
The platform contributing the most cost.
Cost over time.
Cost by platform.
A ranking of the most costly agents.
Cost by model, including calls, token categories, cost, and share of total cost.
Use agent filters to narrow the portfolio to a platform, status, team, business process, or other inventory criteria. The bucket, timezone, and period controls determine the aggregation displayed in charts and comparisons.
Agent cost¶
The agent Cost tab scopes the same analysis to one agent. It helps explain changes in agent spend by correlating total cost with call volume, cost per call, model selection, and token consumption.
Cost attribution can differ from provider invoices because of aggregation boundaries, delayed provider data, pricing configuration, currency conversion, or usage that cannot be associated with a discovered agent. Use Agent Management cost for oversight and investigation, and use the provider’s billing system as the authoritative billing record.
