Agent Management permissions

Agent Management permissions control who can see agents, enrich inventory records, configure monitoring, and manage risk. Access can be defined at the platform and agent levels.

Agent permissions are added to the default permissions inherited from the platform. They can be granted to groups or individual users.

Read

View the agent record and the monitoring information available to it.

Write

Update the agent’s Agent Management metadata and supported settings.

Manage risk

Associate risks, update assessments and controls, and participate in the risk workflow.

Admin

Administer the agent, including its permissions and configuration.

Use groups for stable ownership boundaries, and reserve user-specific grants for exceptional cases. Review platform defaults before adding agent permissions because effective access is cumulative.
